This is my go-to spot for a delicious, affordable, and quick breakfast. The service is consistently excellent, the coffee is always served piping hot, and the food meets all my expectations. I especially love the biscuits and gravy! View all feedback.
What Michael Schuett doesn't like about New Beginnings:
My girlfriend and I both ordered omlettes and got food poisoning... To say least the omlettes needed to be cooked longer we had about a quarter of it till we saw the egg was still liquid (down on plate side not the upper part) after that we paid bill and left. View all feedback.
The food is outstanding! The service was a little slow, but we were there for lunch on a busy Sunday.

Had to change rating after last 2 visits. Cold breakfasts, inattentive wait staff. Too busy chatting, to serve. They'll miss the consistent $10 tips. We even tipped the cook on occasion. Best thing for us, there's just too many WAY BETTER diners, thank you for ignoring us.

Needed salt. Soggy Waffles. A little pricy for what you get. Otherwise okay. Country Fried Steak: I've had Country Fried Steak multiple times from multiple New Beginnings locations. It is usually the same. Tastes like it is from a box, been sitting in the freezer for a few days, a little tough, but overall, okay. The price doesn't justify it anymore, though. Sunny Side Up Eggs: One was popped and they were a bit bland. Learning about the potatoes later, I probably should have salted and peppered them. Potatoes: Usually order hash browns, but tried the regular potatoes. They were bland at first, but with salt, it came alive! I'd highly recommend them. Rye Toast: Slightly dry, but good. I usually order rye at New Beginnings and it is almost always that way. Belgain Waffle with strawberries: Came in a pool of water (juice? . Was too soggy to finish. Waitress explained away as the nature of having it with fruit topping. I disagree. You can drain the water and make it palatable. Texture is an important part of cuisine. Coffee: Lower tier restaurant coffee. At least it is marginally cheaper than other restaurants. Saw the waitresses pouring old coffee into other pots. It is going to save cost, but it is not going to taste as good that way. Atmosphere: Sat at a booth and my seat had jam and salt that had to be cleaned before sitting down. Otherwise, it was a fairly cozy atmosphere. The waitress was not rude and we generally were taken care of.
