Lyon Street Cafe - Grand Rapids

I recently visited Lyon Street Cafe over the Christmas break, and it exceeded my expectations! The cafe boasts a charming and cozy ambiance, complemented by ample seating and beautiful natural lighting from the big window. My go-to mocha was a delightful treat – hot, chocolaty, and utterly delicious. The friendly barista added to the positive experience. What sets Lyon Street Cafe apart is the unique outdoor huts available for free hourly rentals. Purchasing any item from the cafe grants you access to these cozy huts, each equipped with its own heater. Hanging out with my friends in one of these adorable huts was an absolute joy! I highly recommend Lyon Street Cafe for its warm atmosphere, great coffee, and the extra charm of those charming huts. A must-visit spot for coffee lovers!

Lyon Street has, perhaps, the best espresso I've tasted. It's an Ethiopian with pronounced berry notes. Whenever I'm in Grand Rapids, I'll be sure to stop in.

This is such a wonderful coffee shop. They have baked goods from next door; there is a fantastic bakery. I got a latte with caramel added. Seriously delicious. So much better coffee than most places. It can be a bit crowded because, clearly a local favorite.

This is a cozy and welcoming spot with a large window that offers a lovely view of the street. It can get quite busy on weekend mornings, as expected. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
