We frequently take friends and family there and have never had an unimpressed guest. The owner, Todd, seems to always be there and is attentive and interactive. Looking forward to the nearby construction being done so they get their beautiful river view back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The atmosphere wa... read more I still remember my first time as if it were yesterday! The most relaxed and as I must say, simple but fine dining. I highly recommend Linear. The atmosphere was great and perfectly balanced. Music choice is unique compared to most restaurants in theGrand Rapids area. Although not too upbeat/loud and not to quiet. Personally, Brussel sprouts are my favorite hors d'oeuvres bya landslide! Every bite was the perfect crunch paired with a warmth of savory glaze. The main entree was the Wagyu Flank Steakand the perfect bite does exist. Finally to wrap the night up, the S'mores Trifle! Thank you Ashley for superb service andfriendly hospitality!

Potato appetizer was not s... read more Overall a great dining experience. Excellent service from our waiter start to finish. Very accommodating and helpful. Chili was good. Potato appetizer was not something I'd get again. Charred octopus was excellent, cooked perfectly. Miso barbeque salmonwas delicious, a perfect pairing of flavors with the grilled pineapple and peppery red cabbage. Sadly we didn't have room fordesert but wanted to try and was very curious about the tumeric cheesecake. I'd dine here again for sure to keep diving intothe menu.
