Hidden jewel in a simple look.. I was for lunch on Friday. I was immediately welcomed by friendly staff and showed a comfortable stand. My first impression was what a great atmosphere at lunch was relaxing and relaxing. It was always busy, but quiet. A welcome change from other crowded and loud places nearby. The food is better than expected. Whenever you see a numbered menu, it is a kind of gamble. But cinco impress... View all feedback.
What Lambert Romaguera doesn't like about Cinco de Mayo:
I would have gone with a 4, but we sat for probably 10 minutes before anyone bothered with our drinks. It wasn't busy several ppl just kept passing us. Service was off. The food was good. The drinks were good. The sangria is mucho grande. I don't know. I may stop again, but it will not be my first stop. View all feedback.
Southwest chimichanga incredible. Enchiladas verdes also incredible. Salsa fresh and perfectly seasoned, not spicy, which is my preference with salsa. Service was excellente as was the atmosphere. Reasonably priced. My new favorite Mexican Restaurant in GR.
Friendly staff great service, colorful and decorated really well, great location, food was a lil pricey but tasted delicious. First chips salsa on the house
Very fun and tasty Mexican restaurant in the downtown business district. Friendly service. S menu with lots of variety. Can handle large groups. Small bar in back. I always get the steak fajitas.
Should've written this review a while back! This restaurant is gorgeous! The art on the walls, the tables and chairs, there's art all over the place. The service has always been great; happy, friendly servers. Drinks are ok, nothing out of this world, food is average, more tex-mex than original DF food. Flavors sometimes clash, like the rice has little flavor but the chicken is very flavorful. When I worked downtown, I used to get a side of chips and salsa, oh the chips and that salsa!!! I miss that treat! This restaurant adds a nice stop to your downtown experience.
Outstanding! The Jalisco was perfection, equally parts smoky, spicy, and creamy with enough left over for a generous lunch tomorrow. Our waitress was kindness itself, even going so far as to dive under the table to rescue my husband's cane when it fell. The food was delivered in a blink and our waitress checked back at appropriate intervals to attend to our needs. The atmosphere on this night was quite rowdy with a party of excited young people expressing themselves in stadium-sized voices but the whimsically decorated tall partitions on the booths gave enough separation from the bedlam to make the atmosphere tolerable for this pair of grandparents. We'll be happy to return.
