I love Bombay and have for JAHRE. 12 years to be exact. Was not long, and ordered my usual Faves, Chicken Murg Methi and Lamb Vindaloo with one side garlic naan. It was as good as I remember if not better. Our waitress was also great. Very attentive, attentive, efficient. I'd give 10 stars if I could! View all feedback.
What Isabella Svensson doesn't like about Bombay Cuisine:
I find myself more of a critic than anything else when I go to bombay cuisine, but eating here must be the world's worst. Bombay cuisine was the first restaurant I visited in grand rapids, and it was a delicious reception in the city. there is a lot of vegetarian options and the server was happy to answer which dishes are (or can be made) vegan. I recommend the daal subzi — it comes vegan and savory — to dive with a side of the plain redi. the portions are large, so they come hungry. I never felt empty. bombay shares with the brewery east west, a local brewery, its restaurant room. I recommend a flight because the aromen vary, focus on fruity and cute flavor that go well with their flavor filled eating. the place where a buffet was accommodated, but no longer, instead of favoring table service. if they are in easttown looking for Indian food, bombay is their place to be! updated by the previous review on 2021-09-06
If they are looking for authentic Indian food, I would not recommend that. it is a mod version of an American restaurant. they are known for their buffet, but I had better. regarding the Veg options, nothing from the usual.
We have the khumb mattar (mushroom and simmer in a creamy, velvety tomato sauce served over rice) and the alooh (kartoffel fried bread) it is great and the service is good. it is very expensive. the khumb mattar alone was $12-13 plus the brot is extra. go with a big bag of cash and it is absolutely worth the price.
