I ordered the Hot Thanksgiving meal to-go because my oven broke. Placing the order was simple, and I was able to do it in advance. DoorDash delivered right on time, and all the food was neatly packed in a box. It included all the classic Thanksgiving sides along with the turkey. What Nancey Chambers doesn't like about Bob Evans:
The service was excellent, but the food was disappointing. The gravy was excessively salty, my medium egg was undercooked, and the cinnamon biscuits weren't very soft. On a positive note, the coffee was good. View all feedback.

The food was excellent, and the service was impressive considering the clear staff shortage. The waitstaff was hustling to ensure everyone was attended to quickly. The only real drawback was the atmosphere. They have a variety of takeout items that waiting customers could browse, but they seemed to be tucked away in a dead area near the checkout. Besides feeling a bit cramped, I would rate this restaurant very highly for breakfast. Kids can make a mess; it's just part of life. However, to earn a five-star rating, it would be nice to see the pancakes and scrambled eggs cleaned up from the floor before seating another customer at the same table. It's simply a matter of good manners.
My husband and I just dined in and we sat in Shays section. The service was good considering how busy they were at the time, but we overheard a lady how disgusting the strawberries were and the manager stated that she would take them off the bill but thecustomer was extremely rude to her and told her to ?grow some balls and take them off the menu? my husband ordered thestrawberry pancakes so we were a little concerned but when we got our food the looked and tasted just fine not a singlecomplaint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to us and our dine in needs. We had a great experience!
If I can give this place a true 0 I would. When I walked in. A cigarette sitting on the floor by the hostess stand used nasty squished cigarette. Once I told the hostess she bushed it off like no big deal and Ignored my kid when she asked a question.Next issue I ordered oatmeal and fresh Fruit saying I?d prefer blueberries and strawberries. What I got was definitely not freshand the oatmeal tasted (as it was plain) like it was made 3days ago with crust and clearly not fresh. Upon talking to themanager she said the strawberry were not coming in looking good as they are ?out of season? and I say okay than why serve it. Take it off the menu and she says. I don?t have any control over that. Like not serving something that is clearly not fresh isnot something you have control over. Grow up!
