Blue Dog Tavern - Grand Rapids

This is a fantastic local pub with delicious food. I've been here twice now. The service is outstanding, and the atmosphere of the bar is really nice. On my first visit, I ordered the Mahi Tacos. The filling was delicious, but the tortillas were a bit dry and tough. On my second visit, I tried the fish platter, which was excellent. My wife ordered a couple of their famous hot dogs, and they were quite good. I really appreciate that they split and grill the dogs—very tasty! However, they are a bit pricey at $8 each. Overall, it's definitely worth stopping by for something local and unique. I've also heard great things about their smothered tater tots from friends.

Trendy spot to relax! I visited on a Wednesday night before my daughter's orientation the next day. There was a nice crowd and the food was tasty. My main observation was that the menu was on the smaller side, which seems to be a growing trend these days. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy a meal. Be a blessing!

I ordered two Loaded Dogs and the Poutine Tots. The flavor of the food was excellent, but it unfortunately arrived cold!

The food is (somehow) always surprisingly good. Only surprising because it's every time and it keeps happening lol. Jeremy thr bartender is super friendly
