Forest Lake Restaurant & Lounge

Had breakfast and was very impressed. Had the smothered hash browns with two eggs on top and it was excellent. Prices were very fair and service was great. Cool atmosphere in a vintage establishment.

Thought about going 4 stars because the Beans lacked flavor (plenty smoke, but no tang), but this place really does deserve 5 stars. Wife and Sister-in-Law had the Carolina Pulled Pork with Fries and a side salad...both loved all of it. They got a loaf of bread also and said that was awesome too. Family friend got the special which was a spicy Cajon Chicken Alfredo, and he said that was excellent as well. I had a full rack of Ribs, with Fries and Baked Beans...all really

Frequent diners. We made a reservation for 13 for Saturday morning breakfast, our back room, corner table request was honored. Confused waitress, kitchen must have been understaffed. Parts of our orders were missing items, retrieved too far into the meal, and none of the food was hot, or even really warm. Never heard the day's special and, as always, not enough muffins had been made for the morning (make less bran). We will return and we hope for a better experience.

Fine dinning for any occasion. The waitresses are well versed in the offerings of the menu. This is considered the top of the list accommodation from start to finish. The food has always been enjoyable,and portions never dissapoint your expectations. Everything is well above what's needed to indulge and be satisfied. So if its by sudden or planned in advanced, by reservation or simply walk in,no matter the level of hungry when you arrive to dine you leave satisfied. I

Best restaurant on our trip and very reasonable. Wish I could have taking the chicken fried rice and fettuccine Alfredo with us if was yummy. My husband and son loved the clam chowder and chicken wild rice soup. Top notch experience
