What Lexi Clegg doesn't like about Taco Rey:
I randomly stopped by this restaurant after visiting a furniture store nearby, and I am so disappointed that I live all the way in Benbrook because these tacos were some of the best I have ever had!! The asada and barbacoa are incredibly delicious, and the beans and rice are a fantastic complement. View all feedback.
Amazing food! I tried the trumpo burrito and it was delicious. The meat was flavorful and perfectly crispy on the outside, while being perfectly tender on the inside. I will definitely be returning.
This taco restaurant isn't too bad. It's located right across from another good taco place, which is amusing. The tacos here may be a bit pricey, but they are actually quite delicious. The Trompo Burger is also really amazing and quite filling. Just make sure to ask for light on the condiments, as they tend to overdo it here like many other places. Overall, the food is excellent!
I recently tried the (Trompo) burger at this restaurant and was impressed by its size. The burger was huge, messy, and more than I could finish. I paid 11.50 plus tax for it, and I felt it was worth the price. The burger came with crinkle fries, which were nothing special. I thought there were too many condiments on the burger, as the breading became soggy quickly. The flavor of the trompo was a bit lacking, but it added a different texture layer to the burger that I enjoyed. I plan to give this restaurant another try, as their tacos and burritos looked amazing.

This restaurant offers possibly the best tacos al pastor on Pioneer Street. They don't use pre-cut Trompo meat; instead, they slice it fresh to order, making it much more delicious.
