This time of year you can get a seat quickly. Food is very good. Gator bites are awesome.

Great time with my wife for my 50th birthday dinner. Staff was very professional and informative about the menu. Thank you guys.

It was a very hot Sunday, some of the fans out on the patio don't work, so you are almost better off seated inside if there aren't many people. The service was great. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. The live band kept teasing like they were starting to play but never did for the three hours we were there, maybe they have a specific time when they start. I liked the tortilla chips and salsa lol.

Monday, Aug. 31st, ~12:30pm First visit wife I were winding down our 6th Anniversary Celebratory Weekend. Excellent hospitality (promptly greeted and offered choice of seating at the bar, dining room or on the patio) Great view of marina in the dining room corner table. (lunch traffic was very light) Our server, Janet, was courteous, patient, and very knowledgeable. My wife ordered fried pickles to start and I had a cesar side salad. We think the opened an 8 oz. jar to serve us. The fried catfish (my wife) was excellent. I had blackened catfish. It was okay. it was more lightly seasoned than I expected. Portion sizes made the meal a good value. I am prepared to recommend The Oasis. Were led here based upon my wife's cousin posting her visit(s) on Facebook.

The food and service was great! Nice atmosphere with great views. Would not mind driving an hour to enjoy the catfish as it's one of the best in DFW!
