This place is a must-visit next time you're in Grand Marais! Everything, from the food to the service to the unique glamping experience, was absolutely amazing! A group of nine of us stayed in the glass floor trailer, and the charming vintage accommodations were nice and warm upon our arrival—definitely a plus in mid-November. Greg even started a cozy fire for us and kept it going all night, even while we were dining... View all feedback.
Very different food with its own Glampground from ancient campers to the accommodation. Was very happy to see such a pet-friendly restaurant! There is an outdoor Pet Patio that even a menu for your Pooch! The staff loved our fur child. Menu is chef driven and very fresh! Even the sauces and dressings. Loved the delicious crunch on the wings with a spicy honey sauce. Only hot enough to get your attention. The miracle puffs were a leak similar to cream puppets. Fillings change daily. Very tasteful and creamy Parmesan for our order! Will definitely be our next North Shore visit again!
Awesome, unique and a blast! We had a very nice time. Sweet entertainment. The owners are very nice and do a great job.
AMAZING FOOD!!! And drinks!! I had the Italian Beef (Philly cheese steak) and was blown away by the flavor. You can see it in the picture (note a few bites were already taken). It was $15 but so worth it! Also had a Stella and was surprised it was only $4.50. My brother had the Portobello Tacos and said they were delicious but could've gone for two more (still worth it for the flavor). His girlfriend had the Wunderburger and said it was phenomenal and also had two Sex on the Beach drinks, which could not have been made better. They had live music, inside and outside which is a huge plus. My only complaints would be that we came at 4:15 on a Saturday and had to wait longer than usual but it was busy. The second complaint is it could have been slightly brighter inside (more lighting over the table so I could see what made my taste buds go WOW). Otherwise a phenomenal place to come to for supper. As seen on other reviews, they had bean bag boards outside but it was raining so we didn't get out there. Even being busy, staff was excellent and friendly. I would definitely come here again!! Keep up the great work!!!!
The waitress/ bartender was extremely friendly. I wasn't too much of a fan of the food but the service made up for it. She answered our questions, very knowledgeable about what she does and she seemed to genuinely enjoy her job
The grown-up grilled cheese and their beer cheese soup were both DELICIOUS! And their fries were also yummy. Shout out to our bartender Greg for being humorous, helpful, and kind. It 's one of those quirky local places that is loveably divey. There were fun things hanging on all the walls and ceiling. The bathroom stall had funky artwork covering it. There was a game room with pool and foosball. They also had another area with a stage and live music, and yet another space near the bar with the Twins and the Wild on TV. Everyone was kind and friendly, and I 'd definitely go back again!
