Trail's End Cafe - Grand Marais

I recommend this campsite! The sites are not too close together, but they have locations especially for two parties to camp next to each other. We were ranked #12 and across from us was a way that led to a perfect bathing area. They also have 2 boat landings that are perfect for canoes and kayaks. There were two beautiful waterfalls with a path that leads from the road to it. There is a small museum right on the street that was very interesting and had many information about the area. This museum also has hiking trails. Overall, I recommend Trails End because of its remote area. We're coming back!

Very nice campsites for tents and campers. Great fishing and hiking in the area. Many local outfitters for the rental of canoes, boats and equipment if you want to explore the area by the lake. Cafe and food on the campsite and some of the resorts in the area also have food and restaurants. Many wildlife including black bears, moose and loons. A slime is located near the campsite full of fun history of the area.

Large campsite, some of the sites are still affected by forest fire and lacks a little shade, but many of them have to come out of the sun somewhere. This was a great starting point for visiting the beautiful lakes at the end of the route.

Cool place way up in the woods. Had never been there. No one was there so we were able to take cool pictures.

Great place for might photography, although sight seeing is not as good. If you are not a big hiker or into canoeing, a couple day stay should work fine
