Super long wait this morning, 25 minutes, but beautiful day to wait outside. Cute logo items like sweatshirts, tshirts, coffee beans and mugs. Variety of options forthose of us who like the Starbucks and Caribou menu. Great location view of lake is Spectacular. Indoor and outdoor options they have a bonus pop-up shop by the lake just north of the shop.

Not a fast food place that just wants to serve quick. Quality food with a group of super friendly young ladies making everything as ordered. Wehad the opportunity to meet and chat with Annie the owner. It was a chance to relax for lunch as we still had hours to go to ourfly-in outpost. We were coming from SPAMtown USA. My buddies couldn't believe that a town of 1500 population could be busy with10,000 tourists enjoying the North Shore and Lake Superior. Java Moose is a must stop for anyone traveling to or through GrandMarais to get that smell of fantastic fresh coffee. Mike Stark, cruise director of our fishing crew.

And the outdoor se... read more The espresso (in an Americano) was excellent! Great flavor while being in the middle of the acidic bitter spectrum. One of the best I've had. And the outdoor seating patio has a great view of the lake with lots of seats. The line moved impressively fastso don't be turned off by a long line.

The drinks are amazing, the food is amazing, the owner and all of the employees are sosweet. Sitting outside and looking out at the lake while enjoying a hot maple latte can only be described as pure bliss : can?twait to stop in again!

The other location... read more I really enjoy Java Moose, but I want to point out that the lakeside location actually closes at 3 PM, contrary to the 5 PM listed on Google. The other location, which is just two blocks away, does stay open until 5 PM.
