Just okay, but it's still good because it's an IHOP. Maybe things will get better after Covid19? I can't put my finger on it, but something just wasn't quite right about the place. Something just didn't feel quite normal. View all feedback.
What Vickie E doesn't like about Ihop (grand Ledge):
they have a sign up saying they close at 4pm on Saturday and Sunday due to staffing shortages. I stop in after my shower to grab dinner, waited for hostess to seat me. She came out, may i help you? i would like to eat, yes dine in. Wait... she comes back says it will be 5-10 minutes. For?? May i sit down? My husband and I stopped at this Ihop while out running some errands. The food was as we expected, good but not spectacular. The coffee, on the other hand, was unusually good. I did feel that even though short staffed, they could have been faster to clean the tables. Then wait times may have been shorter.
Failed to get our main dish right, but quickly corrected. Waiter was very attentive, place only had 3 tables occupied. Food was ok.
They have a happy hour menu from my 2 to 10 , they have five dollar meals. You can't beat that. Food was hot and fresh, and the staff was delightful
Actually very impressed with the meal! The hashbrowns were amazing! Had a lot of garlic/onion butter on them. Really like the manager Tammy. Very friendly, and great conversation!
I walked in at 12:03 PM. stood around the cash register to be seated, 17min later a waitress walked by told me, You can have a seat anywhere you'd like. So I did. Waited another 31min for a menu, only after I raised my hand to get another waitresses attention of course, Restaurant only had about 5-6 other people there at that time. 19min later I had to get Their attention again to order food. I'm already boiling but hunger is stronger in me. And OMG I've never waited for food this long ever in my life, over 45min. I wanted to get up and walk away but I ordered steak medium and I was looking forward to it. I'm just pissed at this moment. Waitress walk by and give me my drink I ask her. Is the food almost done. She will check. 5min later she bring me my food. Steak is burnt like extra well done. I'm just extremely disappointed in the food Quality and I'm not waiting another 50min to get my steak done right. Wasted so much time. Almost 2 hours. Left this place at 1:52 PM. I'm extremely disappointed. Like I'm extremelyyyyy disappointed. Thumbs down.
