Great local coffee shop just down the road from the Colorado National Monument entrance and the infamous lunch loops MTB park. Some of the best cookies I’ve ever had spicy chocolate chip (a hint of cayenne) and an apricot oatmeal the day I went. They also had a variety of breakfast burritos to choose from. View all feedback.
What Travis B doesn't like about Trailhead Coffee And Cafe:
The ratings are deceiving. The pastry was low quality and the cookie tasted like a refrigerator, but there was two different ways to leave a tip. Typical Grand Junction. View all feedback.
Great sandwiches, but they take forever. We’ve made a habit to stop here each time we’re in town now and love it, but…30min to deliver a few bagel sandwiches is too long when we have plans to accomplish. Thought it was a fluke the first time, but it was confirmed the 2nd time. Nice waiting area though and we have not tried calling ahead yet. Jury is still out.
Definitely worth the drive from Palisade to get that yummy cup of coffee and panini!
Great coffee and yummy food, a great stop on between outdoor activities! I especially appreciate that when I asked for just a little bit of flavoring in my coffee, they followed through without overdoing it. They also realized that my partner and I were splitting a burrito and made sure to put it on separate plates for us. Super thoughtful.
Lovely shop with delicious GF baked good options! I also enjoyed seeing the availability of local fruit. Access to outlets are limited but it was fine for me. I’d absolutely come back, the staff are friendly and welcoming (not sure why previous ratings say otherwise).
Trailhead Coffee use to be one of our favorite places in town but sadly it's not anymore. A while back we stopped going there because they refused to stock either skim or 2% milk for my coffee drink of choice and we realized the the big coffee chain across the street would happily accommodate my request.Just the other day we were in the neighborhood and decided to give Trailhead another try. We do prefer to support local if at all possible. Wow, what a disappointment, the banana bread was burnt and it's not the first time we've had burnt baked goods there. On a positive note, the lady behind the counter was pleasant and attentive.I doubt I'll go back when I can get better across the street. It's too bad though as at one time Trailhead was a great local coffee shop that we enjoyed supporting.
