Feedback
In a recent visit to Devil's Kitchen, the experience was mixed. While the ambiance and service were pleasant, the food left more to be desired. Some dishes, such as the artichoke dip and spinach artichoke dip, stood out, but others, like the lobster and short ribs, fell flat. Service varied from exceptional to lacking, and some felt the meal was not worth the high prices. On the other hand, another diner noted that Devil's Kitchen has become their go-to spot, praising the food and service. While some had disappointing experiences, others found it to be a reliable dining option in GJ.
Amazing food in a unique venue! Located on the top floor of Hotel Maverick, Devil's Kitchen is definitely not your ordinary restaurant. My wife and I went for a date night and tried out their ribeye steak, bolognese, and some desserts and none of it disappointed. We found out from our waiter that Devil's Kitchen is a teaching kitchen- so the chefs preparing the food are culinary students under direction of a head chef- and we would definitely give these students top marks!
We got the peach mimosa and the **** Mary with shrimp. Both drinks were really good! The food and service was also really good. We ordered the venison hash and the biscuits and elk gravy. And for dessert we had the maple bacon donut holes. It was all amazing!
My daughter and I had dinner the other night, she had been there twice before and really talked it up, it was my first time. Our server, Brady, was very personable. He recommended the espresso martini and it did not disappoint. Sourdough bread and butter was sooooo yummy, burger was amazing, and brownie dessert finished it off perfectly. This place is a must try!!

Unique menu with delicious flavors and great service! We had a large party and staff bent over backwards to make sure every detail was taken care of. The prawns were huge! Great presentation. Blood orange margarita and bananas foster are a must! Sogood, I forgot to get pics until dessert!
