Cafe Rio Mexican Grill - Grand Junction

Really wish they would clean the restaurant and the employees. Everything is always filthy. They fill up the horchata with a bucket that hasn't been washed in months. The drink station is a serious health hazard. The trash cans are always overflowing and he employees uniforms are always filthy. I was going to this location frequently and gave them a pass during the covid times. There is no excuse now. It is clear the manager or franchisee is a filthy person that does not have any cleanliness standards. It's sad because the food is pretty good and cheap for the portions.

I've eaten to order dinner today. since I am a truck driver, my truck cannot park in front of this place. but eating is phenomenal. it is fresh as possible and I was very satisfied

The best people are limonaden. best cilantro jalapeño nachos. I love this place!

Friendly, fast and very good food. tortillas made before place so very fresh. had a great huh asado burrito! good size portion and worth it.

I ordered using the app for a pickup time of 1.5 hours after ordering. when I got there 10 mins before my pickup time my food was already sitting there ready for pickup and I sat down to eat it immediately and the food was barely even considered warm. I'm wondering if they received my online order and made it before they looked at the time it was set for pickup. I still love cafe Rio and there food but hopefully they can improve on making food right before pickup and not right when the order is placed.
