This was a great hotel it had a nice pool good breakfast clean rooms comfortable beds a yard right in front of my room, but this hotel is somehow a labyrinth to come around as a part of the hotel was later added it was older but updated to as good as a Marriott hotel also people say that the wedding venue is noisy, but they had a wedding when I was here and I wasn't here a thing. What Watson Willms doesn't like about Boarders Inn Suites By Cobblestone Hotels Grand Island:
I called and cancelled room 48 hours prior to stay and they still charged my card $153 24 hour prior to check in date. I called and they stated they had nothing in their records for cancellation so they would not refund my money. I will never refer anyone to stay at this hotel. I’ve NEVER Had a hotel take my money like they did and lady on phone was extremely rude and hung up on me. View all feedback.
Absolutely fantastic!! Here in Grand Island for orientation but will definitely bring family from Idaho for vacations!!!
Check in was good, then when I arrived in my room I noticed a large dead bug on my floor. As I left to go have dinner, I stopped by the front desk and politely asked the front desk clerk if he could have someone go to my room to remove a dead bug. I was surprised by his initial response which was how big is it? Not sure why that mattered but I gave him an indication with my fingers and he said he would send someone to remove it. Sure enough when I returned to my room a little more than an hour later, I noticed that the bug had been kicked across my floor,. out of my room, and left just outside of my front door. I wish I were making this up.
This was a last minute stop pulling in at midnight on a trip to Colorado. The staff was awesome. Really nice considering how busy things were around midnight. The facility could use some upkeep...it was clean, but doors that were hard to open and close...shower curtain rod barely attached...stuff like that.
We stayed over the weekend for state softball. The rooms were clean, the beds were pretty good and the breakfast was nice. It also started at an earlier time than most other hotels I’ve stayed at so that was a plus, especially since we had two early mornings. Housekeeping came every day we were there, which was nice to come back to the beds made and clean towels in the bathroom. Front seat was more than accommodating for our group. The courtyard was nice and had a decent grill for us to use. The girls enjoyed the pool, which was pretty large! Overall we had a great time!
Our stay at Boarders inn was fantastic! I’m not someone that usually takes the time to write reviews, but this hotel/staff definitely deserve it! Jamie Michelle at the front desk were both very kind accommodating; I had frozen breast milk that needed to be in a freezer (my room only had a fridge) so they offered to store it for me in another freezer they had available. The rooms are updated clean. Pool hot tub were great, my kids had a blast! The pool was actually warm adults were able to even enjoy it! The complimentary breakfast was great, with many options. Check out isn’t until noon so that’s a bonus as well. 100% recommend this place would stay again!
