I arrived at Red Lobster at Grand Forks at 5:30. I noticed that there were hardly any cars in the parking lot. I went in and there were very few people in the restaurant. I ordered a 20-time beer and waited for 10 minutes. I also ordered my meal at the same time I ordered my beer. I had lobster filled mushrooms that lasted over 20 minutes. Online waiting list time is not accurate. Even if you join the list, the restaurant does not use it. You will be placed on the back of the line when you arrive.
Fast forward a couple of weeks, and I received an email offering triple points for trying out their new "3 from the Sea" menu. This menu includes a soup or salad, a single-sized appetizer, and one selection from a choice of seven entrees. We went for it last night, and it was fantastic! Once again, our server was excellent, and the food was served promptly and was very tasty. My wife and I both ordered the shrimp linguine, which was loaded with shrimp—so much that I was pleasantly surprised! It was a generous portion. The next day, we both had leftovers for lunch, along with a few extra cookies, all for just $40, including drinks! I redeemed my reward points for a dessert that we enjoyed at home, and thanks to the tripled points promotion, I’ve gathered enough for another free dessert on our next visit.
