What Jeff Burchill doesn't like about Green Mill Restaurant Bar Restaurant:
We have eaten here twice in the past ten months. The service has been slow both times, even though the restaurant was not busy. The staff is friendly, but inattentive. The food is okay but unremarkable. The appetizers must be intended to serve one, perhaps two people because the portions are too small for more. I think we will go elsewhere in the future. Always enjoy their deep dish pizza. We went for mothers day brunch and were impressed with the quality of buffet
We decided to attend the Green Mill for the Mother 's Day buffet. When you got there we were turned away because we didn 't have reservations (we had no idea we needed to call ahead). We were told to come back in 3 hours . There were plenty of open tables and nobody in line with us. I then, went to my vehicle and called for a reservation for 4 to which he replied, 5 minutes for the table . I lost it! They turned around paying customers when it only took a simple phone call. I should taken my phone out and call right in front the 2 working after being turned away.. There is a reason why it 's never busy..and the one time it is, they send people away.
