During our recent one week stay in Grand Bend, we dropped by I'm Starv'n Roadhouse a couple of times. On both occasions, we only did take-out and did not actually go in for a sit-down meal. For a quick burger, fries and shake or ice cream cone, this place is great! The food is ok. The service is like being at Ed Debevic's in Chicago. You think you're on candid camera and being watched as your server ignores you, throws your bill down as she walks by, walks up and says nothing, yadda. The first time we went there last year was the same. As soon as we walked in, we remembered last years experience. We even had the same server. All we could do was laugh. View all feedback.
The crepes at this restaurant are excellent. I ordered the complete crepe with ham, cheese, and egg. Even though it was made with whole wheat, it was still very delicious and authentic.

We needed a quick lunch before a play and happened upon I'm Starv'n Roadhouse. The decor is quaint and the atmosphere is of a Country Pub. The service was fast and efficient. Our very large hamburgers appeared to be home-made and were excellent,as were the large portions of fries. We had lots of time to get to our play and very much enjoyed our lunch. Recommended for a pleasant quick meal.
It's always helpful if the name of a restaurant tells you something about the food and the experience. I was reluctant to ask if the name was the idea of the owners or inspired by the comments of customers. When we arrived we were second in line for a table and after about 5 minutes I noticed there were at least 3 empty tables that had not been cleared. Ten minutes the later the couple ahead of us was seated but we had to wait a further 10 minutes before being sat. Two couples behind us expressed concern about the possible wait time and I advised them it could be quite some time before would get a table - they left.Keep in mind that this is summer in Grand Bend and the entire staff consisted of 2 servers who might best be described as 'mature'. A third staff member was apparently the cook/dishwasher/cashier/busperson/occasional server. Three empty tables went uncleared for a period in excess of 40 minutes. Those given a window booth near the front would do well to heed the tree outside the window that is quite dead, as this should be taken as a sign that sustenance of any kind may be a long time coming.
Went today with my wife for lunch. I can honestly say it was the worst food I've ever had anywhere! The bruschetta bread was horrid and so was the rest of it...we will NEVER set foot in this place again Glyn & Judy Wood
