Rib Shack - Granbury

I had the Rib Combo with sausage, bodacious beans, and a side of hover. The ribs were fantastic, the sausage was delicious, and the beans were outstanding. The sweet and hot pickles were truly exceptional!

Outstanding BBQ! I wouldn't choose any other place for barbecue! This restaurant is simply the best! The food is fantastic, and the service is top-notch! I always felt like part of the family there!

The food was enjoyable, but the staff could benefit from better customer service skills. My 10-year-old son chose to celebrate his birthday there, but sadly, it felt like the staff didn't want him there at all. It was clear they didn't pay much attention to younger children. My wife and I have dined out often, but this experience has soured our appreciation for Rib Shack. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.

Best Around!. The BBQ here is to die for! For the last several years, husband and I have been trying to find at least ONE really good BBQ place in the Fort Worth area where we live (I 've lost count) and everything left us cold. Preferences in BBQ can be so diverse. For us, it 's all about the smoke. Everywhere we 've been (that includes Cooper 's, Railhead, Angelo 's and Longoria 's) merely kiss it with smoke. No measly 4 hours in the smoker is enough for us! A light scent of wood smoke and no flavor was what we found time and time again. So eating Rib Shack for the first time left us misty-eyed with happiness! Yes, as others have written, the ribs are amazing. Smokey, juicy and fall off the bone tender but still firm. My personal fave is the pulled pork. Consistently tender and flavorful with the perfect amount of smoke flavor. Same goes for the sliced brisket, chopped beef and turkey. That 's all we 've had so far but our goal is to try everything on the menu. I drove an hour there to pick up a ton of food and drove the hour back. It was worth it!!! So if you 're looking for a BBQ place that actually isn 't afraid to smoke their meat, go to Rib Shack!!!!

FALLIN ' OFF THE BONE RIBS. Decided to take a road trip today in quest of The Rib Shack . These are some of the best ribs I 've had in a looong time and the hot bbq sauce ranks right on top. The spicey pickles were excellent, I 've never had any like these, thick sliced and juicy, and now the dessert. Look out bananna pudding lovers this is worth a try, homemade and not out of a can. I will most definatly go back again.
