The restaurant seems to have a stable customers from local people, but they prefer to take wine/beer with some dishes as appetizers. The service is good, good variety of seafood. However, the edible crab (buey de mar) we ordered was not of good quality, had quite a lot of liquid inside and for sure didn’t have the weight we were charged for. Normally they have to show you the crab with the ticket of weight, which they didn’t do this time. So, it was not the best experience.
Very bad service from the waiter no attention to the guest's plates where for almost 30 empty on the table teared out of my hands the ticket due to a remark i made to my partner
I will start by saying that our group six people that became friendly as part of a small group tour had a nice time and basically good food dining at Cunini, which had been recommended as one of a few choices by our hotel desk staff. Most of the seafood we ordered was excellent, and one person ordered a pork dish which was also quite tasty. We had a very difficult time ordering an alternative sauce for calamari, which came with a large portion of mayo, but this was clearly a language customs issue. The menu included many reasonably priced wines, which seemed to be common throughout Spain. Service was efficient but not what I would call informative or friendly. Despite the high ranking, I found myself a little disappointed overall, and would be likely to try other options there are many if given the opportunity to return to Granada.
We wandered by hungry, and decided to try this tiny vintage-looking seafood restaurant in the aptly named Plaza Pescadería. We ate outside in the covered dining area in the plaza because the weather was gorgeous. Also, the small interior bar was completely full of people appearing to be locals. The tables were attractively set and the service was attentive. We ordered garlic soup (amazing), clams (amazing) and grilled sea bass with vegetables and aioli (also amazing). Wine, beer, water, and the dessert plate (3 different types of “cakes” also delicious). There were “freebies” like migas to start, fresh bread, and some extra sweet things afterwards. We noticed the crabby English couple at the adjoining table did not get the complimentary dessert. We are going back tomorrow.
This place was recommended by a Spanish friend who is a real foodie. However the evening wad a bit disappointing. Service was not very friendly. The fish dishes were nice but sometimes a bit dry. We had better sea food. Price was rather expensive. Price/quality you find better places around...
