Was rowan profitt at Cafeteria Carlos I a mag?
I enjoyed this little café. The bar tender was nice enough to tell us to sit outside rather as it was a hot day and while we were inside we could already feel it was very humid inside. The drinks were ice cold and the beer was perfect which is always a plus in my books. Always make sure you ask for a large beer or you may end up with a small glass. Had it at different restaurants so by the time I arrived here I was p... View all feedback.
What Jayme Chartier dislikes about Cafeteria Carlos I:
Tasty but salty chicken curry. Over priced for area. Charged extra fee for addition rice of 2€, but couldn't be bothered to to argue it was the bar man didn't speak English. Pretty sure they purposely do it and hope tourist don't say anything. Paid 11.50€ for chicken curry rice extra 2€ for rice which clearly didn't apply View all feedback.

I went to drink a coffee with two friends at 12 and they kicked me out because We didn’t order more food.... they just invite me to leave! There are many beautiful places in Granada so please, don’t lose your time there.
Having just had a rather unpleasant experience at Las 4 Gattos in the Albaycin we were lucky enough to stumble across this little cafe. The waiter went out of his way to make us comfortable and welcome. Service was quick and food gave a taste of Spain. It was all very reasonable for the price.
I stumbled upon this place by accident, just slightly off the beaten track. It's basic, but clean and the owners are very friendly. This place seems to be a haunt of local people, but does have it's fair share of tourists.
Stopped here for a quick coffee and a bite to eat, as usual in Spain coffee was excellent and the food just nice, not expensive either
Visiting Granada after a day tour on Sunday. Everything was closed and we found this place. Reviews were horrible, but we thought, order simple and hopefully we can’t go wrong. Well...my son who generally is an easy eater gave the burger 5/10, and a groase. It was on long sandwich bread, like a baguette. The burger patty was small, flavourless, and flavourless. It took a loooong time to make. The margarita pizza, lacked sauce and flavour. Gave it a chance, but even if desperate, look harder and elsewhere.

Very good place. We had a dish of cod and a dish of meatballs. Tasty, good quality, we enjoyed it all. Service was good too, no problems with it. Oh, and look at the prices! Incredibly inexpensive. Oops, they don’t take credit cards.
Dire. Worst so called hamburger I've ever been offered and I'm Scottish, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to bad food. Even by tourist trap standards, this is a low point. Avoid it. There are much better places within five minutes walk.
Nice enough drinks at reasonable prices but no tapas to accompany them! After a week in Granada this is the only place we've been that hasn't served a tapas with a drink.
