The buffet itself wasn't that good in the first part, in which there was normal breakfast. The fish platters were well and nicely prepared, unfortunately there was only a small selection of sausages. The fried eggs had been under the heat lamp for a very long time and were very crispy, not to say hard. The fried bacon was extremely dry and hard. With the baked goods/rolls we were sure that they weren't fresh. Unfortunately, this marred the overall experience. The second part of the brunch buffet, which was served from around 10:45 a.m., was very good. Steaks, schnitzel, etc. were added to the buffet. All in all, there is certainly still room for improvement for the price.

It all started well, until around 8:30 p.m. (after only 2 hours) the questions from the staff, whether everything was OK or whether we would like to order something else, became more and more frequent and intrusive. At about 9:30 pm we were asked to pay because nothing is going on anymore and they want to lock up. Two other tables were just getting empty at this point. When we were told that the restaurant was open until 11:30 p.m. according to its website, the music and then the light around our table in the restaurant were turned off and we were told to go over to the checkout to pay. It was already too much for the staff to come to us with the bill. Conclusion of the evening: anyone who treats their guests so condescendingly has not understood gastronomy. Additional info: the 180g beef tartare was ordered three times, according to unanimous opinion, the weight was clearly undercut. The other dishes were o.k.

The drink orders were served quickly, and it should be explicitly noted that the attentiveness and excellent service of the staff lasted the entire duration of our stay (even when more guests had arrived)! Many thanks to the staff! The buffet was constantly stocked with all the food on offer. The selection and quality, the taste and the presentation are at a very high international level! Even special requests were implemented and prepared by the kitchen staff with skill and competence to our complete satisfaction! Again, a big thank you for your commitment! I would like to emphasize that the owner of the hotel restaurant personally took the time to ask us about our satisfaction, wishes and suggestions. This is a special point for me, because in practice this is only practiced in very few cases by the restaurateurs/owners! Chapeau! I would like to rate the price performance ratio as absolutely appropriate in view of the selection and quality! In summary, after my first visit, I would like to recommend the restaurant Das Grambacher without reservation and I am already looking forward to the next visit! Best regards E Lind
