Tygart Shores Dining - Grafton

The food was a complete let down. I have had several people tell me the food was good but it's not so. I went here with my family, in hopes to have some good home cooked WV food instead the food was over cooked and just had very little taste. The sever was very good he checked on us several times and asked if there was anything he could do. The restaurant has amazing view of the lake. I suggest buying a bottle of wine at the gift shop and taking in the view and skipping the meal!!!

Nice staff and great view but $27 for a 8 piece chicken tender meal with fries! Way over priced. It's in a remote location so prices like these will not encourage people to come.

This restaurant has changed hands many times over the years. It has a great view so we thought we would try it again. It is the best food we have had here, Cranberry walnut salad (one with chicken, one without) was great. One of the best salads I have had in a long time. Crab cake was also very good, as were the fries and they were nice and hot. Portions are large. My husband loved his coconut cream pie. This restaurant would be competitive in our hometown of Sacramento, California. We will be back the next time we visit!

We highly recommend Tygart Lake State Park. This was our third visit and we had a great time. We stayed in a cozy cabin for two with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was fantastic and the view was breathtaking. We also rented a pontoon boat from the marina for a full day of fun on the gorgeous and clean lake. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Food is only ok. The Veiw is breathtaking, wait staff works hard. Do recommend the club sandwich. Hamburger was well over cooked so make sure to tell them how you want it.
