Grafton is famous for its wineries, but if you get a little hungry while visiting I recommend Big Kahuna Bar Grill. The decor and the location along the river will make you feel like you're somewhere a little more tropical than the Metro East. Prices and service were solid. If I were to suggest a menu item the Kahuna Crabby Balls were excellent and the The Kahuna Classic was more than filling. Even though we didn't h... View all feedback.
What Lise Kristensen doesn't like about Big Kahuna:
terrible! it took an hour to get our meal. the pork pliers was more like the resistance on a chicken mcnugget! terrible! on and it is fried and the menu is not said fried. View all feedback.
Very nice place. very peaceful. the people are super nice. some things better than others. you really dug the pizza and Jalapeño ****. get the sweet rosé panty remover. make it.
Great casual food and drinks on the water. the dirty ape-frost drink is good and the soft Bretzel sticks with beer cheese dip on the place for a light snack.
Cool idea , potential atmosphere . Subpar high school cafeteria style food. Asked for medium cooked burger got well done overdone. The quality of chicken and beef was lower than necessary considering they are advertising the chicken as Hawaiian bbq. It takes more than squirting sauce on it folks! Burgers seem pre packaged and are not juicy what so ever The one alcohol beverage had little to no alcohol . Couldn't taste it. Give someone who cares about quality your money not this place. Hey owner, don't like the negative reviews? Maybe try to rethink your establishment. I gave it a chance hoping the reviews were harsh and realized they were accurate, very.
Giving even 1 star is overly generous on my part. Waited 1 hour for 2 cheeseburgers and fries which were fair at best. Someone please show these people how to run a restaurant!
See my review for Grafton Harbor to get all the details. The long and short of it it as follows: 1. I live two miles from Grafton, and after 10 years finally decided to see what it was all about. 2. O-Jans and the thrift stores sucked. 3. The ice cream places were expensive, but good. 4. Grafton Harbor was very nice and super friendly. 5. Big Kahuna was the best restaurant I could find in Grafton. If you go, you should try it out. The food was very good, the staff was friendly and attentive. They didn't have exactly what I wanted, but they were able still make me happy, and the onion rings were delicious. If I had to go back to Grafton...which I don't plan on it...I would definitely catch a wave to the Big Kahuna and sit for a while.
