Crown Grafton

We discovered this restaurant while searching for a place to have dinner, as many others were closed due to a local celebration. Upon entering, we were impressed by the atmosphere and decided to sit outside by the river, which was lovely. The location was clearly an asset. We ordered garlic bread as an appetizer, and it arrived quickly, which was great. However, when our salt and pepper salad was served, we were impressed with its presentation, but unfortunately, the squid was undercooked, which was quite disappointing. We would consider returning in the future, hopefully more prepared for what to expect.

The service was excellent, but the meals were quite disappointing, especially coming from an award-winning chef as mentioned by FM 104.7, which is why I was eager to try this place. Typically, our family of four spends around $70 to $80, but this time it cost me over $100, and that was without drinks! This included kids' menu items as well. The steak was overcooked, the parma didn't even resemble a proper one, and my daughter said the chicken nuggets tasted raw and unpleasant. What a letdown! Service rating: 4/5.
