Crew Mess - Gosport

Underused and excellent traditional 'greasy spoon ' and I mean that in the most complimentary way. Not many everyday cafes are actually that proficient at the good old 'fry up ' breakfast. But the enigmatic Michelle is a master of her trade, and does the best fried breakfast around Gosport, if not around the south coast generally!Do yourself a favour and give her place a try, it might be a cliched term to use these days, but you really will not be disappointed!

This is an honest, simple cafe that serves freshly cooked, unpretentious but very good food. Breakfasted here after an overnight in Gosport marina and enjoyed the refreshing simplicity and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Quick and welcoming service what's not to like?

This was my first visit here and I was pleasantly surprised,Lovely warm welcome, with super fast service, food was really very nice with good portions and a really good choice on the menu so am going to have to return shortly to try some more :

A welcomed breakfast after an overnight sail back from Plymouth. A pretty basic cafe, but the food was great, and service quick. I enjoyed a vegetarian breakfast although the Full English also looked inviting. Will visit again when berthing in Gosport.

Great little cafe just off the Gosport Ferry. Good quality food at a low price. The breakfasts are particularly good.
