Best fish and chips !!! Reasonably priced fish and chips and great portion sizes for the price.Highly recommend.

10 Feb 23 2 large Haddock and 1 small portion of chips. Both the fish and the chips were excellent, beautifully cooked. In fact we enjoyed our meal so much I telephoned the shop to let them know. The fish portion was of a good size with very good batter; crisp, crunchy and tasty. One small portion of chips at £2 was sufficient for both of us. The majority of the chips could only be described as proper fish shop chips (with a few scrappy off cuts not unreasonable). They definitely have our future custom.

Just a ridiculous amount of time to arrive. Rung the 1st time and was told it had left the restaurant 2 mins before (we had already waited over an hour), about 30 -45 mins later no food so rung again. We were told they couldn't guarantee delivery times in case of events! We live 3 miles away! What events?!?!?!?!

We had an excellent meal at this restaurant on a Wednesday evening. The Haddock was cooked to order and delicious, with light batter that was more like tempura. The Veggie Mozzarella sticks and crispy chips were also freshly cooked and tasty. The owner and staff were friendly and not rushed, making for a pleasant dining experience. We are occasional visitors to Gosport and have always been happy with the food here. We believe the new owners are doing a great job.

I ordered food for delivery and unfortunately it was greasy and undercooked. It seemed like it was the last of the fish before closing time. The packaging was also dripping with oil and both types of fish I ordered were crammed into the same small box. When I called to complain, the person I spoke to accused me of making it up, insisting that nothing like that would leave their shop. I was very disappointed with the food and customer service at this restaurant, and I will definitely be avoiding this place in the future. It was the worst dining experience I've had in Gosport. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant altogether.
