From the beginning we were greeted in an utmost unfriendly manner. Then once we were seated had to initiate contact with the waiter. He had simply ignored us asking to order once and finally we became louder. The waiters seemed annoyed an overwhelmed. The only bright spot was the overall good quality of the food. Delicious, very yummy food, fairly priced and in a lovely location on the Abzucht next to the old leather and cement mills. Service was average German service, aka not the friendliest but they got the job done. I'd go back in a heartbeat, and I'll bring my parents when they visit Germany! Tip: they don't reserve tables outside, so get there right at opening time to secure a place under an umbrella!

Awesome restaurant! First of all the service was excellent, they noticed we didn't spoke German so the brought us a menu in English and they spoke in English to us. Then the food (and beer) was excellent and really well priced! Also the place is decorated accordingly to the rest of the town. Next time I'm in Goslar I will definitely come back to this place.
Good, traditional kitchen, nice operation, cozy environment. parking near the beach.
