The food was very tasty, large portions and the price was cheap. I had a gypsy schnitzel with fried potatoes. There were 2 schnitzels instead of 1. The sauce was really delicious. My wife had half a chicken according to her own recipe, the house specialty and a side of fries. And what can I say, it really was a specialty The service was very friendly. The atmosphere is rustic. I was excited about everything. I would eat here again at any time.

Very delicious food. Waiting times are okay – since everything is freshly made, it's more than acceptable. Above all, the taste is worth it. Minor drawbacks include the high noise level, as well as the infrequent arrival at the table when people arrive for drinks – but again, that was simply because the place was extremely busy. Reservations are highly recommended, as the place is more than deserving of its busyness.
Simply top-notch. Unbeatable value for money. One of the best half chickens I've ever eaten. We'll be back.
Great pub not far from the old town. There were 12 of us there and we felt very well looked after. Great chicken and the service was also very attentive...thank you

Great atmosphere, friendly service and good food. The chicken is what many people come here for, and rightfully so. It's a bit salty, but welcomed flavor, especially when you're pairing it with the chicken and not just eating the skin alone. Last time I went I tried the Jaegerschnitzel, and I will say, that was quite disappointing. The schnitzel wasn't quite crispy enough, the sauce was a under seasoned and didn't have much flavour, and the button mushrooms were small and not sliced (albeit plentiful), which took away from the presentation. I needed to add salt to this sauce, which was a strange juxtaposition to the salty chicken. My friend and I got the fries and croquettes for sides, the fries were mediocre, but the croquettes were good. Overall still 5/5 because you can't beat the atmosphere, and when I go back, which I definitely will, I'll just stick to the chicken.
Good beer, good food, shady quiet square!
Very nice bourgeois ambience, nice and accommodating host. Due to the reviews my choice fell on half a chicken, I can only say very tasty and recommended. There is a big beer selection, the place is worth a visit. If we're back in Goslar, we'll see each other again. Thanks for the pleasant evening and the warm service here some locals in the area can cut off a slice. VG
Best 1/2 chickens with crunchy skins
Good German restaurant. Eating like with Mutters.... German dishes. Food tastes very good and is delicious. Prices are fine. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. Recommended

Your chickens were recommended to me, and I can only pass on this! The chicken was super delicious crispy and very well seasoned! Very recommended! We picked it up, next time we like to come to the restaurant with our friends. Thank you.

Great chicken, the first time chicken Hawaii ate and it was a surprise. But the chicken was already the hammer. Restaurant/ pub is very original. Also everything to take.
Chicken really delicious. With taking the portion size of the pommes to remain the same would be nice.
It's fine. Staff super nice. Extra wishes, always go. If possible. The food is very abundant and delicious. We sat very comfortably there. Price/performance, fits. However, it was very warm there and some fresh air would be great. Still always liked.
