Two Trees - Goshree Road

Its a very nice place to have weekend dinner. They have lots of verities and prices are very economical. Very good ambiance, but waiting time is long. We have tried steaks and sizzlers and it was superb. Staffs are very friendly.

Today evening decided to take my family out for a Christmas dinner. First went to avenue center but it was full. Homed on to harbour view due to its proximity, however we were in for a big disappointment. The buffet was priced at 400/- but was extremely simple. Only three basic desserts. Dal was good, ceaser salad was yum, but the rest of the dishes fsiled to impress. Dish bowls were empty and we had to wait a long time for a refill. The kitchen had water spilled on the floor which had crept into the restaurant causing many a child to slip. The staff was slim. On enquiry we found that the reason for such a dismal performance was two ongoing parties and room service. In addition we witnessed a brawl in the lobby between the hotel staff and some youngsters. Over all a big put off.....

We visited this restaurant in the evening for a dinner buffet. The parking is restricted with very narrow approach road and little space for manouvreing and parking big cars. Plus the lot is filled with tipplers because of the bar on the ground floor. There is no body to assist in parking. The front office was not very helpful in this regard. We approached the dimly lit lobby and tok the lift for the restaurnt. It was also dimly lit. Though the name of the hotel is Harbour View, nothing is visible from the restaurant though it is bang opposit a shipyard. We were received by a waiter and we told him that we were here only for the buffet after he asked us our room number. Over the course of the meal we were asked for our room number five times by five different waiters. Every time we had to answer that we were only dining there and will be paying the bill. These waiters also disturbed the guests at our adjoining table more than five times checking their room numbers. The guest had to finally vent thier anger at the manager for disturbing them during the meal.The spread was quite vast. However the lighting was inadequate and it was difficult to see the food. Most of the items were regulars, with nothing to write home about. The fried fish was very oily and salty. The only saving grace was the chicken curry and paneer dish. Though they had advertised that they had five desserts we found that htey only had cut fruits with ice cream and a insipid rice kheer. The restaurant is named Two Trees because of two palastic trees set indiscriminately inside the dining area.Based on the taste of the food, level of service the rates are blatantly high. Exit from the parking was another hassle with the route passing through dimly lit areas inundated with knee high water. Best avoided.

Service and the variety of food offered was awesome. From punjabi to chinese almost all variety of food are here to choose from.

One of the worst no. restaurant and service provided in the whole Ernakulam.. After pre booking the lunch they provided lw quality food and service. They only keep semiya payasam and vanilla ice cream as desserts and, for the main course, only boiled rice, plain basmati rice and fried rice. And as curries only one chicken curry, one fish curry, dal, one potato curry and gobbi manchurian, that's it. And in barbeque after waiting one and an hour, they couldn't be able to provide items. They cut the kebabs and chicken fry only one piece). We pre booked for people. After that, they treat us the very worst way.. Don't go there, please go to another place for buffet lunch or dinner..
