tandoor is iconic. I was often there as a child. was happy enough to bring my son to the restaurant the other day. in these days they calculate almost rupees 500 for a quarter of their all-time favorite kadai chicken. the service was common. aged and as stubborn waiters made it a point that their masks were not close to the nase. for 500 rupien I would like to be a brilliant property with parking and responsible serv... The restaurant offers expensive and greasy dishes, with a variety of Andhra delicacies on the menu. The service is good and they also serve traditional Andhra meals.
The restaurant has a rustic atmosphere and the food is just average. However, I must admit that the southern cuisine is not as good as the food in Mumbai, Goa, or Rajasthan.
We can’t expect 100% Andhra taste, but maximum reached. Some of the articles are brought by Andhra like Pickle, Pachadi etc., which gives great feeling of Andhra taste.
Nice and fresh with multiple options. This is a great place for Andhra cuisine in an old (nearly historic) building.
An authentic place for Andhra cuisine in Kochi. Have tried their Andhra thali meals and loved it. An old building with normal ambience, but friendly staff and good customer service. Recommended!
