What Aracely Hauck dislikes about Kelly Jae's Cafe:
We were disappointed. The gin and tonics were not good. There were no utensils for the whole lobster or another plate for shells. I had to crack open and use regular fork to get what little meat I could. I had butter all over me. The sirloin was ok and lobster roll. But overall disappointed. Consider providing tools or cut claes and provide tail meat. View all feedback.

A big jewel here in the heart of the sea. We had a great dinner, we celebrated my girlfriend's promotion and wanted to go somewhere really nice and they were all we wanted. Cassie, our server was Spot One and Matt the bartender led us on a good port for Dessert. Loved the atmosphere, there was music, but not too loud and the decor was great, I just can't say enough about it. And the food, oh so good! Your fillet just melt in the mouth a d my tuna was spoiled for perfection. In any case, it is worth checking.
Eating is good. Nice atmosphere. For a higher final rest, I would surpass actual menus vs. only one QR option.
The overall consensus on Slapfish is a mixed bag. Some diners were disappointed with the lack of utensils and tools provided for cracking open lobster, while others found the food and service to be excellent. There were complaints about the sun shining directly into the restaurant, making it difficult to see, but the atmosphere and decor were generally praised. Overall, while there were some minor issues, most diners enjoyed their experience at the restaurant and would consider returning.

The food was incredible, and the service was outstanding. The new location has a lively atmosphere that's perfect for engaging conversations, thanks to the amazing artwork on display. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. We'll definitely be returning!
I settled into an incredibly clean and artistic ambiance, and the food matched that high standard.
The ambiance is lovely, the food is exquisite, and the service is excellent.
Their drinks are great! We've had about every dish on their menu and they don't disappoint! They're all delicious!
Food was wonderful as usual. Congratulations Kelly and Beth on your new location!

This restaurant has moved to Syracuse, IN, and it's exciting because now all the Lakers can show their support—and it looks like they definitely are! I ordered the Jae's salad, beef medallions, and tomato tart, and everything was fantastic! My husband had the halibut with spinach purée, which he really enjoyed. Everyone also tried the crab corn chowder and was amazed by it. It's not cheap, but it's absolutely worth it!
Just to provide some context, my wife and I have visited KJ's over 20 times, frequently recommending the restaurant and introducing at least 20 people to it by bringing them along for meals. We consider ourselves to be kind, generous, and courteous diners. I understand that Valentine's Day is busy, but if there are specific seating arrangements or a two-hour time limit, we should have been informed beforehand. Two hours is simply not enough time to enjoy the KJ's experience fully. While the food has always been excellent—albeit a bit pricey—it was worth it, and we had established a friendly rapport with some of the staff. The atmosphere felt comfortable and almost homey—until Valentine’s evening when we were treated poorly. It seems that KJ's has shifted its focus to maximizing profits at the expense of customer experience. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, as the only response we've received is that Kelly regrets we were not informed about the two-hour table limit. It’s disappointing, really, but there are plenty of other great dining options in the area.
I visited Kelly Jae's for the first time and won't be returning. The food was decent, but definitely not worth the high prices. While the appetizers and drinks were served quickly, the server was incredibly rude. We were essentially told we had just 10 minutes to finish our dessert and leave because they needed the tables. This restaurant seems to have no understanding of how to treat customers. I recommend dining somewhere else instead.
Great service every time we go here! Love the staff and the food!! We dine here for lunch and dinner. Always a treat to eat at Kelly Jae's
