We've spent some days of our honeymoon trip here at Gasthof Gosausee and we made some fabulous memories. The rooms were very nice and clean, also we had a room with a breathtaking view towards the lake and the mountains. The area is great for...hiking, relaxing, jogging... it's very peaceful. In short nothing to write home about the food. goulash was dry and the keisershmarn was weak. The main problem was that the restaurant charged us without disclosing euro for tap water!!!!!!!!!! Just outrageous View all feedback.
We dined after hiking the beautiful lake. had a great trout dinner (huge silver plate,) schnitzel, beers, and strudel. gorgeous view and good service.
Strongly recommended restaurant in Hallstatt Great View, warm and friendly staff, lovely decorations, intimate atmosphere and WONDERFUL dishes !! Yummy I spent days in Gosausee lake and never get tired to have all my lunch and dinner here !! The food are...really fresh and perfectly cooked. And have a lot of choices too!! The deer steak and the fish is MUST-eat item !! Great to have a beer with the stunning view!! Desserts is great too !! Price is affordable with great potion. (Ard Euro per a dish) Overall, the best in Hallstatt

Gasthof mit sehr netter und rascher Bedienung mit traumhaftem Ausblick, da hat das Essen gleich doppelt gut geschmeckt!
