We were the first guests to arrive at the restaurant at 730pm. We were greeted and sat where we liked. Most guests sit outside the main restaurant.We had the main menu of the day and after starters my wife had a very generous dish of prawns in garlic and I had beautifully cooked Duck with some fat still on it. The standard of cooking was excellent. Followed by Creme Brûlée. The menu of the day was 38Euros. View all feedback.
We dined at Le Loup Blanc yesterday as a group of eight and everyone of us was pretty happy with their food choices.
I am shocked by the bad review I just read, but it was over a year ago and perhaps changes occurred since then.
Gordes is one of my all time favorite places in the world, but I have not yet found a restaurant that I love thereLe loup blanc was no exception.
We stayed at lunch in this small restaurant a few meters from the main square of gordes. it does not offer panoramic views or elegant terraces but definitely focuses on the quality of the cooked products. we ate a dish of meat and one of fish and both were cooked well and cleanly, accompanying them with an excellent white chateauneuf du pape. coffee with various sweets, all prepared in the house, was really a worthy conclusion of the lunch. recommended!
If you want to get back to this place I advise you to check in advance that the family is not present for lunch or then you will absolutely not be the center of interest of the boss or anyone. They will be served before you and will be the subject of all its attention but absolutely not consumers present. In the meantime, you will have to listen to Madame telling her booking this winter...of 5300 euros 800 car rental to tahiti for 1 month. Don't count on the server that is a specialist in the table plate slamming with disinvolture....(sometimes a local custom)Breef apparently someone is working in the kitchen to prepare good dishes and in the room it's working to destroy everything. In the kitchen there is no princess or princess there is only work and satisfied consumers..... it is at this price that one can expect to leave at tahiti for 1 month.
