The restaurant has a modern, clean interior with good service and air conditioning, as well as outdoor seating on a terrace. During our visit, four of us had dinner for less than €10 each. We ordered two servings of biryani-style chicken rice, one malaitikka chicken (marinated in a blend of ginger, garlic, lemon, spices, and cream), and one hariyalikab chicken (marinated in mint, cilantro, spices, and yogurt); all dishes were served with a garnish of caramelized onions. The cuisine at Biryani Bay specializes in Mughlai cuisine, which originated from the Mughal empire that once ruled over parts of India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. The flavors of Mughlai cuisine range from mild to spicy, with a mix of unique spices and marinated meats. The influence of Central Asian cuisine on Mughlai cuisine is evident in the use of various spices and cooking techniques.
