This restaurant is on the highway. Had to travel around 9 Kms from my hotel to have lunch. BUT ITS WORTH IT! Ordered Mutton biriyani, Nattu Kozhi chukka with gravy, Kalakki, Katla fish fry and to top up rasam and rice! Enjoyed Nattu Kozhi chukka gravy thoroughly, its was finger licking goooooood! Rasam was at its best. A MUST TRY for hardcore non veg lovers. DONT MISS IT. View all feedback.

Undoubtedly Good Food. Their Mutton Chukka or Mutton Fry is delicious. But, the staff spoils everything that they good. You cannot have a meal here in this place if you do not order any big stuff. Undoubtedly Good Food. Their Mutton Chukka or Mutton Fry is delicious. But, the staff spoils everything that they good. You cannot have a meal here in this place if you do not order any big stuff. They literately say that they don't serve basic items. In a lunch, you cannot have only meals. You must order a mutton or fish or chicken. Otherwise they openly said to get out and they wont serve. I find this a worst behaviour. I had only meals in the similar class outlets. They served with a happy note. I would never step in to their outlet once again. Good food tastes better only when you serve with good heart.
I recently ordered the Mutton Biryani from this restaurant. Unfortunately, the dish only had bones with very little mutton. Moreover, the taste was extremely disappointing. I have never had such a bad Biryani before at any restaurant.
I went to this restaurant for dinner based on several recommendations. I was disappointed that the food did not live up to the hype. There was an excessive use of flour in the dishes. I probably should have tried the Dosa instead of the Paratha. The gravy was flavorful but the consistency was not to my liking. The service was decent and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, many of the dishes were not available for dinner. I would like to return to try the biriyani next time.
This restaurant offers only local food options at affordable prices. It is recommended for those who love to experience new and local flavors.
If you want good non veg food, Mangalam restaurant is the place to go. Likeable food for all kinds of palate. Generally the food is not too spicy or too bland. Chicken fry and Karandi omelette are hallmarks.
