However, the service was disappointing. The staff seemed to consist of young people lacking in interpersonal skills. We spent £70 on a shared starter, a main course each, a bottle of wine, and two alcoholic drinks, yet not a single person checked in to see if we were enjoying our meal—neither during nor after our dining experience. really enjoyed the stags head on Mother's Day, just down, I asked for my steak, medium to be rare, and it came medium / well done, so a bit hard. but we will not go again. we have tipped when the staff was very friendly, which always makes a difference View all feedback.

We found the pub easily . Staff were very friendly and we all enjoyed our meals . We weren’t rushed and the meal was very leisurely . Ambiance was very good .
Lovely Sunday lunch, worth every penny. Will definitely be going again. Staff very welcoming.
Food was good although the service a little slow, nice to sit at same table all night without being pushed out, car park could be a little larger we struggled to find a spot. I would definitely recommend this place
