La Hacienda Of Goose Creek

My boyfriend and I ordered from this restaurant today. I typically get my takeout from La Hacienda, usually from the location on River’s, but it was closed on DoorDash at the time. Unfortunately, the food we received was nothing like what I usually enjoy, even though I ordered the same item. The taste was completely different. My boyfriend ordered the seafood quesadilla for $19.50, but it was mostly filled with onions and peppers—about 75% of it. I was really disappointed.

Then I noticed a male server mixing a drink for someone else in the same blender he had just used for my brother's drink, without bothering to wash it out. To make matters worse, he actually drank from the drink he was preparing using a different straw and then tossed it in the trash. All of this happened right in front of me. To my shock, he then walked out the door with the drink he had just taken a sip from to give to the customer. I will never return to this restaurant!

A wonderful find! When I walked in I did not expect the level of decor and atmosphere that was present. The atmosphere was backed up by nice servers and very tasty food.

I visited the restaurant on a Tuesday night and had to wait 15 minutes to be served at the bar. The young woman who wears glasses and the young man working that night were reluctant to make my drink and made things difficult for me. Additionally, the manager who works on Mondays and Tuesdays had a terrible attitude and was very unprofessional. I won't be returning on Mondays or Tuesdays in the future.

Hidden gem. The menu selection is vast and the food is amazing, especially the fried ice cream. They also have the best salsa I've ever had from a restaurant. Definitely will be returning.
