Alex's - Goose Creek

I do have a problem rating this place after what I just witnessed. So i will just give it an average rating and let you rate it. I was seated to the closest table next to the kitchen where the waitresses pick up the meals and serve them. When serving the pancakes they are served with butter, I saw two butter pacs dropped on the floor and watched to see what would happen next. After 30 seconds of walking around and collecting germs I watched in horror as a waitress picked them up off the floor and put them back on the serving tray. Then saw them put the butter pacs on top of the pancakes like they normally do. I had ordered pancakes and within a few more minutes I was served my pancakes with the butter pushed down into the center of the pancakes. So I was served Alex's hot pancakes with butter germs straight from the floor stuck right dab in the middle of the pancakes. As for Alex's, the workers, and the food, I love you all. But for God's sake I know you can do better than this.

We didn't get to eat here because they closed early due staff shortage.

I visited Alex’s Restaurant for the first time today in Goose Creek, South Carolina, and had an outstanding experience. The prices are very reasonable, making it a great option for a delicious meal without breaking the bank. The highlight of my visit was the amazing lemon merengue pie and Salisbury steak. Both dishes were absolutely delightful and left me craving more. This is a great place if you want a lot of variety. The flavors were spot on, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and carefully prepared. Additionally, the wait time was impressively short, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Their attentive service made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, Alex’s Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in the area. Great food, great prices, and great service – what more could you ask for?

Our server was fine. Place was dingy. Tried to overlook, but food sat there and got spit on for a while… so we left.

Very trashy. I watched employees stand there and talk over our for over five minutes, and when I walk up and ask about it, the woman in charge does absolutely nothing. But I’m not surprised, the place is super dirty. Must reflect leadership.
