Sushi Poke House - Goodyear

I was doing business in the area and looked up a place for lunch and this was one of the highest rated places, so I stopped in. I was looking forward to the experience, but the guy who took my order wasn't very friendly, forgot the eel sauce on one of myrolls, and they were made pretty poorly. As the rolls fell apart around my chopsticks, I wondered if I should have tried a pokebowl instead. The rolls didn't taste bad, but 2 rolls for $30 seemed a bit steep, all things considered. Hopefully it was justan off day for them.

My family and I went to Sushi and Poke House for an early dinner today. My kids enjoyed the baked cali rolls, and I ordered a regular sized poke bowl. Then, we shared a baked scallop roll and all 3 got a Boba drink. The quality of the food was great! Theflavors were fresh and everything was very authentic to what we have experienced elsewhere. The only downfall is we spent a bitover $66 for our meals and I felt that was quite a lot. I also felt like the customer service was lacking. Unfortunately, theman (who seemed to be the owner) seemed to be very overwhelmed and possibly just having a bad day but it somewhat seemed to berubbing off on his employee, who did not seem to be family to him. However, I will make an attempt to try Sushi Poke Houseagain, just to give this business another shot.

I had my first Pokebowl here and it was absolutely delicious! The man working behind the counter was patient and kind as I took my time putting together my bowl. Thank you so much! Everything I had was excellent! Rating: 5/5 for the food.

The food was delicious, but I was taken aback by the portion sizes as they were quite small. The ice cream came in a single small scoop. If you imagine the donut as rice, then the hole in the middle was about the size of the fish portion. Overall, I would rate the food as a 3 out of 5.

The food at this restaurant was excellent, made with extremely fresh and flavorful ingredients. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. When my daughter ordered a California roll with a sauce she didn't like, the gentleman behind the counter noticed and without us even asking, he brought her a replacement roll without the sauce for free. We were very impressed by this gesture and we definitely plan on returning to this restaurant.
