I?ve been coming here for 10 years now and always introduce this place to my friends and family. It is one of the best menudos I?ve ever had and probably the best and cleanest in Arizona. The pozole is just as good. I recommend getting a michelada with your food! Super cheap also! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Raul And Theresa's Mexican:
First time and last time coming here. The salsa taste nothing but garlic, the chips tasted like they been sitting there for weeks, menudo taste exactly like canned menudo (got to know the difference). My mother ordered red posole and got a pale, salty posole. We asked how do the chile rellenos come with and out server straight out said the chiles come in canned ? but for that, she gets a star for her honesty to us. U... View all feedback.
I?ve literally never been more confused by an experience than I am now. Gave this place a second chance. Wish I hadn?t. I had great company, but the service, the food, and the experience were so confusing. No water brought to table with crazy hot salsa. Like ask us if we even need it? ?????????. Then they have like major tiny baskets of chips. The tiniest basket I?ve ever seen. If you get more than 2 and they charge you because you know ?America?. Drinks got me drunk so I guess that was ??????, I could have made better fajitas at home with an Amazon skillet. I heard that the Raul and Theresa here got into a fight with the one off Litchfield RD and 10. I can see why, this one is sketch and not even amazing food for the hole in the wall. Listen, I love Mexican food too much to let someone else waste their money. Just don?t do it. I?ve about 85 other places in Phoenix to try.
I visited on a mid afternoon, and was one of two guests dining at the time. The server was quick to set up my table setting and ready for my order. I'm partial to Chile Verde, and I was not disappointed. Generous with the pork and a very spicy (not at all hot the way chili verde sold be). The building served to have been another style of restaurant, the walls were layers of flagstone and the culling was open. Still a nice place for dinner. They have people waiting at the door and sitting they talk to much they had plates on the cart standing there talking giggling while somones food is getting cold and the drinks took forever I was sitting there for 20 min tell they asked for drinks then the tea tasted dirty or flat I was rooting for this place and it just isn't it the prices are ridiculous basically everything is 14$ and up its better to go to zamoras in avondale good deals and food is perfect very quick always on top of your drinks remember your paying for good food not to sit there and wait for warm or cold food or flat drinks very unprofessional place to pricy hear for low service
