What User doesn't like about Cafe El Triunfo:
I came here after 2 years. But this time I'm leaving without a smile. The place was empty when I arrived. One lady from the staff was rude from the very beginning. I had some questions about the menu but she seemed unwilling to respond any...of them. At the end I got a coffee one almond croissant. For the price I was expecting a good quality coffee bread. However my coffee was far from burned sadly the croissant was s... View all feedback.
The pizza was excellent. It is a really cool building in a picturesque city. Rate the stop between Todos Santos and La Paz. Friendly staff.
We came for lunch. Ordered pulled pork BBQ sandwich and tuna hamburger. The pulled pork tasted store bought with hints BBQ sauce. The tuna again was store bought frozen, but was smoked nicely. The decoration of the building is very nice. All dining is outside so...no air-conditioning, but plenty of fans. I live in cabo san lucas, so I'm well aware of food prices. This restaurant bis double what you would pay for the same in cabo san lucas. I will have breakfast here tomorrow, because it is the only place open on a Monday. I will review the breakfast in a separate review
Located in the small charming cobble stone village adjacent to the museum, this small restaurant/bakery is relaxed and charming and is open from 9 to 5. . Service is attentive. The chef, Marcos Spahr, has pulled together a great menu. Breakfast entrees from Hot cakes...and waffles to specialty Omelets and egg dishes run between $140 and $250 pesos. Lunch sandwiches served with a small salad and bread baked daily on the premises cost $250 pesos and specialty dishes ranging from Hamburger Hawaiiiana to ahi tacos, to enchiladas rancheras, to a meat lasagna and a Gorgonzola ravioli cost $225 to $350 pesos. The house salad with goat cheese, baby lettuce, cherry tomatoes, pecans and dried cranberry was delightful. The open face avocado sandwich on fresh baked bread and the lasagna were both very good. Loaves of their fresh baked bread can be purchased in the bakery which you walk through to get to restaurant seating. These rustic loaves have complex flavors due to the slow cold fermentation method used and are baked in their mesquite fire wood bread oven every morning and are absolutely soul satisfying delicious. Deserts displayed in the bakery were very tempting but we managed to resist.
The pizza was excellent. It is a really cool building in a quaint town. Worth the stop between Todos Santos and La Paz. Friendly staff.
