Love the feel of The Camp! We went for lunch and sat out on the back patio, it felt very cozy and relaxed. We called ahead to make sure we could bring our dog, our waitress was wonderful and even brought our pup a bowl of water! Sat down noone seemily were wanting to help us... Someone finally came tall woman) Ordered a **** Mary she brought it in a Styrofoam cup that's fine... No olives okra green beans still ok. Finished it! I asked for a second, she grabbed my empty Styrofoam cup instead of a new one... She stood there after I asked why not a new cup? Still staring me down. Finally decided to leave us. Great new Seafood place in Gonzales! One of the best catfish poboys I've had anywhere. The catfish was breaded perfectly, tender and well-seasoned. The bread was amazing! You also get a boat-load of fries. The boiled shrimp was super fresh and tasty. The dipping sauce added a great touch. Can't wait to try the crabs!
No flavor in the food my husband burger taste like soil and also I order onions rigs for that they give fries , and my daughter tenders was unflavored it all the only good thing was the crab ooo and also they miss the coke and sauce for my sandwiches . I went there 4 months ago wen I was pregnant and the poboys was amazing crusty delicious but now is a totally ?0? I jut got home and too hungry and disappointed with that
Ordered the Cajun pasta it had no seasoning and the shrimp still had peeling on it. My husband had the ShrImp platter and we had an order of the crab jalapeño poppers, both were brunt poppers more so than platter. Shrimp on platter was over seasoned. When spoke to manager about food being brunt she told me, we have to overcook the season because she doesn 't want anyone to get sick . Over cooked seafood is just as bad as undercooked seafood. This was our second time ordering from them, the first time wasn 't any better. Won 't be going back.
Came for happy hour!! Heather was absolutely the best and open now on Tuesday for ???? Crawfish season. Amazing service, live bands on Thursdays and Saturday. Coming back tonight for our famous crawfish ????. Shout out to Hailey and Chance, love supporting family owned business.
What a fun hang out spot! The atmosphere is so laid back and it?s great for the whole family. The kids can spend their time playing corn hole while the adults enjoy excellent appetizers and beverages. I recommend the boudin egg rolls, spinach dip and crawfish. It?s all delicious.
