I visited Mike Anderson's in Gonzales, LA for the first time, and it was definitely worth the trip. This fish restaurant offers fantastic dining and excellent drinks. I tried the blueberry old fashioned, and it was delicious. I also had the crab 7, which I highly recommend! View all feedback.

My family loves celebrating special occasions at Mike Anderson's in Gonzales. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding as well.
We had lunch there today and Lance was our server! He was the kindest and most amazing server we've had in a long time. Thank you for employing such a wonderful young man! – Janet Kliebert
This tasted just like the good old days in New Orleans! The meal started with crackers and butter, followed by excellent coleslaw. The catfish was perfectly fried, and the stuffed potato was delightful. The large, flavorful hush puppies were a great addition, and we topped it all off with some amazing bread pudding. It really felt like home.
Everything was fantastic during this visit, especially the crab plate.
The food was delicious and fresh. The fried green tomatoes were definitely the best I've ever had, and the crab meat was absolutely perfect.
