Simply the best. Brisket is perfect, ribs are fantastic, so far that is as far as I have gotten….cuz, why stray from perfection to venture into other areas when the first two satisfy? Bet the chicken and sausage are perfect too! Added bonus, after dining in, I wore that smokey flavor on my clothes the rest of the day, perfect ambiance! View all feedback.

I have to give them 1 star and here is why. The staff is very unfriendly. It's not just today it's everytime we come here, it's like that don't want to be here. The food is very good , 5 stars, the attitude of the staff just takes you away. We think we will go else where for our BBQ delight. It's over and over again. They just don't make you feel welcome ! Good Hell To Yes Cooked for Coal BBQ in Gonzalez, TX at Top 50 Texas Monthly BBQ Joint Baker Boys BBQ. Turkey and sourcing are so fantastic here and the boned chicken leg with onions and peppers is a delicious bite. Large bands and pretty good brisket too. Everything was worth the ride, even the normal chicken. The Cheesey potatoes are simple, yet delicious. Well earned place on top 50 and great destination BBQ!
It is on the 2017 Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ list for good reason. The fat seal is great. The pork has a great taste and is very delicate. And the ribs had a wonderfully sweet taste. I also had a piece of chocolate cake that tasted home.
Brisket was cooked to perfection. Chicken was tender and had a great smokey flavor. Sides and tea were excellent as well. This place will be a BBQ destination and put Gonzales on the map.
The brisket melted in my mouth!! It was the perfect combination of spices. The portions are very generous. The ribs and sausage speak for themselves!! Wonderful food and friendly staff! Gonzales TX has a gem of a great place!! Perfect if you're doing keto!
Loved the bbq chicken. The best I've ever had. My co-worker had the brisket. Melt in your mouth brisket. Delicious sides too!! I will be back.
