It... read more We were a party of six and shared a classic Fondue chinoise and a Fondue Glareyarde. The latter one was new for us. Pity it’s only now that we discovered it. It’s absolutely yummie. We felt warmly welcomed and our servers Mary and Martin did a great job! The central location is great in walking distance in the village and next to the train station.

Me and my wife both ordered the green Thai curry along with a bottle of red wine. As soon as the food arrived we noticed that the portion was tiny, resembling a children’s portion. We ate the food, which tasted ok. I’m not a big guy by any means, and we didn’t arrive to the restaurant extra hungry. But after finishing the food I was left hungry. The waitress came to collect the dishes and asked if everything was ok. We said that the portions were very small and that I am still hungry. Her response was to bring us the dessert menu card. In the end of the evening we had spent CHF 120 in this restaurant but I was still hungry and feeling upset due to the poor experience. The waitress came to collect the rest of the dishes and asked once more if everything was ok. I once again told her that the portion size was very small, and that I’m still hungry. Her response to this was the reason I’m writing this review. She loudly informed the manager across the restaurant that I was still hungry, to which the manager replied “yes”. A simple acknowledgment of my complaint would have been enough. But instead they chose to ridicule a paying customer like that in public. Unbelievable and completely uncalled for. I want to point out that we did not make a scene or anything like that at any point. We simply answered their questions in a polite way. Up until this point we had been reasonably happy with everything. The service was quick and efficient, and the food arrived amazingly fast considering how many customers there were.
