While camping at Goliad State Park we decided to go check out the town square. Boy are we glad we did! The Blue Quail Deli was a pleasant surprise! Blue Quail Deli is a small mother and pop dinner, some of the best tasting sandwiches I've ever tasted!! Conveniently located in the historic area near the Hofhaus. I highly recommend this place when you pass thru Goliad, Texas.
Stopped on the way home. Had their brisket lunch special. It was delicious. Charming place with made to order sandwiches. I wish I would of tried their soup it smelled delicious. Their chocolate bread pudding is yummy!!!
Blue Quail Deli is a jackpot restaurant in the small town of Goliad! More people need to hit this place up!! I?ll be back for sure. Everyone talks about the jalapeño soup and it was great, so yes, you need to at least try it. But you also need to have a BLT. Yes, other places have BLTs but Blue Quail?s is amazing!! Just what I was craving. Thank you!!
